It's nice to be back with a 'Public Service'!
Hello, Everyone!
I'm back after a long pause and not being able to find time to write.
It's wonderful to say that I finally found time to sit and relax, enjoy having my nails done, wait for my booked massage while maximizing the time to write.
And oh! Here you go, I did take a snap because I'm too ecstatic:
I've been extremely busy the past months, running a company, doing business, studies and everything else in between. Not to mention my stolen moments of travelling - for work and for leisure! Yay!
Anyway, a lot has happened and as much as I would like to share them all, I guess, I will never ever be given the luxury of time.
So, here I go, writing and thought of being back with a bit of a public service. It is nice, isn't it?
Last night, I attended my review and it has been very interesting to me, so I would like to share this to everyone:
We all must know that Republic Act No. 10175, which is also known as “Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012”, protects us from any Cybercrime offenses.
One section totally caught my attention as it is very rampant nowadays. Social media seemed to be in a high and of course, there are people who are not afraid to steal someone’s identity and create fake accounts online.
Little did they know that there is an act covering such offenses. In this light, the State shall adopt sufficient powers to effectively prevent and combat such offenses by facilitating their detection, investigation, and prosecution at both the domestic and international levels, and by providing arrangements for fast and reliable international cooperation.
In this age where technology is advancing, it is very interesting to know that there are ways to trace where fake accounts are created. Regardless that these accounts are deleted/deactivated, it is still possible to trace the person behind.
Are you a victim of identity theft? Is there anyone else using your name and your details to pretend as you?
This Republic Act will protect you! Be informed.
